Definitely, everyone who gets to listen to these above lines can feel the pure and joyful essence that raises abruptly in their heart. Now, there are certain legends, beliefs and priorities regarding the occasion the Christmas. These are mentioned as follows-

  1. Cool Santa Claus

I think we’ve taken the meaning of Christmas out. People don’t stop and think about Jesus or the birth of Jesus. When they think of Christmas, they think of Santa Claus and for the children, and they think of giving gifts and out-giving the most person of spending their time looking for the right thing for somebody who was everything.

Billy Graham

Now, everyone can relate to me regarding this fact. The children or people who were once little including me, believed that real Santa Claus would definitely bring gifts for us on the night of Christmas Eve (24 December). But sadly, my wish of wanting to see true Santa Claus as a child never got fulfilled.

This legend of giving gifts by Santa Claus is derived from the fourth century Greek bishop and gift giver Saint Nicholas. He was loved and admired for his kindness. It is believed that Santa Claus listens to the wishes of the good children and accordingly grants them by bringing gifts.

2. The Precious Christmas Tree

The smell of pine needles, spruce and the smell of a Christmas tree, those to me, are the scents of the holidays.

One of the most marvellous beauty of Christmas is its magnificent Christmas tree. It makes the occasion great and lively because at the time of the Christmas, it signifies the warmth and comfort of the togetherness of the family. The best part is that it makes possible spending time with the ones you love and the presence of a happy family all wrapped up in each other.

The tradition of decorating the Christmas tree was popularized in America by the German and European settlers in the early nineteenth century. But the legend of decorating it date back to Germany in the Middle ages.
